WHY HIRE A SCISSOR LIFT
The Right Tool for Work Directly Overhead
Scissor lifts move straight up within their own footprint, that’s what makes them the most efficient choice when your work is directly above you and you need a stable, spacious platform to get it done. No outreach required, no repositioning every five minutes, no compromising on safety to save time.
They’re the go-to for ceiling and services installation, warehouse maintenance, electrical and mechanical upgrades, signage, lighting and commercial fit-outs. If you’re working overhead and need a platform that stays put, a scissor lift is usually your most productive and cost-effective option.
For tasks that require horizontal reach or façade access, a knuckle boom lift may be the better call, and we can help you work that out too.
Delivery Areas
We deliver scissor lift hire across many suburbs throughout the Sydney metro area, including the Eastern Suburbs, the Inner West, the Northern Beaches, Western Sydney and the Sutherland Shire. Your machine arrives on time wherever you’re working, so a job in Parramatta gets the same turnaround as one in Bondi or Cronulla. If your project runs across multiple sites, we coordinate deliveries and pickups to keep every crew moving.
ELECTRIC AND ROUGH TERRAIN SCISSOR LIFTS
Indoor and Outdoor Scissor Lifts to Suit Your Site
We run electric and diesel rough terrain models to suit both indoor and outdoor environments.
Our electric scissor lifts, sometimes called slab scissor lifts, are the go-to indoor scissor lift for warehouses, commercial interiors and fit-out work. They’re self-propelled, quiet, compact, zero fumes and fitted with non-marking tyres to protect sensitive flooring. Most models also feature extendable decks and pothole protection as standard. Our rough terrain diesel scissor lifts are built for outdoor scissor lift applications, construction sites, uneven ground and conditions where an electric unit won’t cut it.
Not sure which type suits your job? Our team can assess your site and point you in the right direction, or book a free site inspection and we’ll come to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
It comes down to two things: where you’re working and what height you need. Electric scissor lifts are the right call for indoor environments, warehouses, commercial interiors, fit-outs, where you need quiet operation, no fumes and non-marking tyres. If you’re outdoors on an active construction site or on uneven ground, a rough terrain diesel scissor lift is built for those conditions. Tell us about the job and we’ll confirm the right machine quickly.
Our fleet ranges from 13ft compact indoor units up to 53ft for high-reach commercial and industrial applications. Working heights across the range cover most construction, maintenance and fit-out scenarios. If you’re unsure what platform height translates to for your specific task, give us a call, it’s a quick conversation.
Pricing depends on the model, platform height, hire duration and delivery location. We offer competitive day, weekly and monthly rates with no hidden fees. Whether you’re after short-term scissor lift rental for a quick job or a long-term hire arrangement, call us or use the enquiry form for a fast, no-obligation quote.
Load capacity varies by model, most electric scissor lifts in our fleet carry between 230kg and 450kg, with rough terrain units generally offering higher platform capacities for heavier loads and materials. Tell us what you’re lifting and we’ll confirm the right unit for the job.
For most scissor lifts with a platform height under 11 metres, no High Risk Work Licence is required. Operators do need to be competent and follow safe operating procedures, and many sites and PCBUs require an EWPA Yellow Card (also referred to as an IPAF card for internationally trained operators) as evidence of that. We’re an accredited training provider and can get your team sorted through our EWP training program.
The earlier the better, especially for longer hires or specific models. That said, if you’ve got a short-notice job, call us directly, we’ll tell you what’s available and how quickly we can get it to you.
Call us. We’ll troubleshoot it fast, and if we can’t fix it quickly, we’ll arrange a replacement to keep your job moving. We know downtime isn’t an option.
Yes, you can collect directly from our Taren Point depot. We can also help you arrange a trailer if needed. Delivery and collection across Sydney is available if you’d prefer we handle the logistics.
Most units will comfortably run through a full working day under normal operating conditions. Charge overnight and you’re set for the next day. If you’re running extended shifts, let us know and we can discuss your options.
